I founded an organisation/website called Help Shed the Faith in 2011. Its goal is to encourage dialogue and interaction between people of all backgrounds and cultures, regardless of our religious affiliations.

My web design and programming work includes the current site, ScintillatingXing, and the official site for Help Shed the Faith, including the logo, graphic design, and content.
In 2012, I directed and produced an independent 11-minute short film for Help Shed the Faith, titled Beleave Me, with a cast of ten and a three-member crew. My director of photography was Magali Pettier of Provenance Films, and my sound recordist/editor was Andrew Ludbrook of cmsiMedia. The project was financed through a combination of personal savings and IndieGoGo fund raising, and the footage was shot in May 2012 with a Sony EX1R camera.
Post-production was completed in the spring of 2013, and the film has already gained a positive reception, winning acceptance to two international film festivals. Beleave Me was screened at the inaugural YoFi Fest on 13 October 2013 in Yonkers, New York, and at the 3rd International Freethought Film Festival on 17 November 2013 in Orlando, Florida.
Shooting format: NSTC HDV. Run time: 11:05.
Synopsis: A young man, far from home, struggles with the news that his mother is refusing medical intervention for a life-threatening disease on religious grounds. Telephone conversations, worried family members, and a son's growing sense of helplessness and desperation highlight the tensions faced by a family divided by space, time, and conflicting beliefs.
